Our Favourite Places 4
We wrote, designed and published edition 4 of the Our Favourite Places (OFP) guidebook in spring 2016.
At 130 pages it's our biggest OFP book yet, filled with 200+ characterful and independent places in Sheffield – galleries, theatres, cafes, shops, pubs, architectural delights, green spaces. It also lists cultural festivals, highlights day trips, and shares snippets of Q&As with creative residents including illustrator Nick Deakin, musician Richard Hawley, toy designers TADO, clothing brand Mamnick and poet Helen Mort.
We initiated OFP in 2010 to let others in on what makes Sheffield unique, help bring perceptions of the city up to date, and encourage people to either visit or be tourists in their hometown. Since then, under the OFP brand, we've also produced the popular Sheffield Alphabet and Peak District Alphabet prints; a Sheffield colouring book; a set of postcards; printed tours on typography, ale, running routes, public poetry, science, and soon coffee; and a short film.
